Bucharest, April 27^th, 2022 – Chromosome Dynamics SA, a Romanian high tech entrepreneurial company, will be listed on Thursday, May 5^th, 2022, on SMT AeRO, managed by the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company will be traded under the ticker CHRD. Bittnet Systems is among the company’s shareholders, as is Agista, the first Romanian investment fund focused on the AeRO market, accelerating local SMEs by infusing capital, know-how and listing them on the capital market. 

Chromosome Dynamics, set up in 2020, is an innovative start-up, whose main object is Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, with a direct impact on the Romanian agricultural sector. Two years after its set-up, Chromosome Dynamics had, on 31.12.2021, a turnover of RON 4.75 million and it is estimated, based on the developed or developing products, that it will see a 600% turnover increase in 2023.

Currently, the company's most advanced project is Agrobazar, a digital platform which revolutionizes how consultancy and sales processes are currently handled in the agricultural domain. Since its launch in 2021, total platform sales have exceeded RON 2.5 million. The www.agrobazar.ro website had over one million unique visitors overall. 

 “We planned for Agrobazar to be a one-stop shop for Romanian agriculturalists, meant to contain the entire agri-food sector in 12 large categories. We are providing agribusiness consultancy services, farm equipment and inputs – seeds, pesticides, fertilizers – and also a wide range of products in the home&garden and pet&vet areas. With the launch of our mobile apps available for download in Google Play (Android) and Apple Store (iOS), we estimate that total platform sales will reach the RON 8 million threshold by the end of 2022. In parallel, we are working on completing and then launching our other AI projects, which will provide the full scale of Chromosome Dynamics ”, Mugurel Ionel declared.

Chromosome Dynamics carried out several financing rounds in the second half of 2021, including a private placement, attracting RON 3.4 million, funds used for developing the company's investment projects. The financing was intermediated through the Goldring brokering house, which has also assisted the company in carrying out its listing process on the AeRO segment of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
