Bittnet was founded in 2007 as a project meant for the Romanian B2B market and has been active in the domestic IT sector ever since.
The company’s main activity is focused on IT training. It has the widest portfolio of IT trainings on the market, including over 1500 courses.
The portfolio focuses on Cisco, Microsoft, Microsoft Office, VMware (courses delivered through authorised training partners), Linux, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Citrix, IBM, ITIL® (used under permission by AXELOS Limited. All rights reserved), RedHat, Adobe, Avaya, Dell – SonicWall, EMC, HP, Juniper, SAP.
The entire training portfolio is covering topics such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc), Linux, network set-up, programming, operating systems, cybersecurity, telephony, video, virtualization, data centre, data storage, databases, web design etc.
In April 2018, Bittnet launched a new brand for its integration division – Dendrio – and adopted a group structure, thus restructuring the business organization, which is currently based on two key vectors: education and technology.
In 2015, Bittnet became the first Romanian IT company to be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Besides its central offices in Bucharest, Bittnet currently holds five regional offices – in Cluj, Timișoara, Iași, Craiova and Brașov.
The company ended the 2020 financial year with total income in excess of EUR 4 million, with a year-to-year increase. During its first year its income exceeded EUR 170,000.
